DAY 58

Thanks Shiny, Duncs (My main man) and Michael for your kind words.

Had a good day today, the football ended 2-2 and it was a cracking game. The main thing is we didn't lose and let Leicester jump ahead of us. On to the next game.

A peaceful evening tonight watching 'Boardwalk Empire'. Parents back tomorrow, that's my peace and quiet gone but am looking forward to telling them I coped and didn't gamble 🙂

Day 60

Thanks Castle and Charlotte for your kind support, I will message you back on your own diaries.

Pleased the folks are back and I got great satisfaction from telling them I didn't gamble. Think they are in shock and are not sure if I am hiding something, but I know I am not, so have a clear conscience.

You are right Castle, the football play-offs still look on for us (Crystal Palace), just hoping we can get one more win and a draw which should secure our place. Very tense times

Glad all is going well Wilsy,

I have to agree, my main satisfaction/motivation comes from telling Family members and friends of my progress.

all the best

Andy.

Fella it will take a long time for folk to believe we are telling the straight up truth, after all we became the masters of hiding it.

But rest assured ny friend it will come, and it feels good, no great to know that you are gamble free.

60 days taking it back.

My man a massive well done from me.

thought of you last night I walked my hounds round a great big lake and there was a fishing a plenty!!

No puns from me though, as a bit close to the water!!

Duncs stepping forward never back.

Hey Wilsy

A huge well done for reaching day 60. You are doing great. One of my motto's is this: -" As long as I know that I am telling the truth, then nothing else matters". The rest will fall into place when it is ready and I am sure, with your continued progress, your parents will realise that this indeed is the case - that you are gamble free.

Keep going and continue to stay strong and focused.

Take care.

Feb.

DAY 62

Thanks MRCO, FEB, DUNCS and Shiny for your kind support, I will post you all back individually.

Progressing nicely, all is good in the hood they say. Last day of the week tomorrow, as I've got Friday off. Desperately need pay day, what with the big drop in wages what with just having to get back into work and my excessive spending on things like dvds, f**s, sweets and all sorts of cr**, I'm struggling to get through the month. I have to keep telling myself if will take 2-3 months to recover from my last relapse, it's just difficult. The credit card is the only thing keeping me going and that just seems to be getting higher and higher, still feel good paying things/family back and it's the normal way to be. Not gambling has made me feel so much better about myself and I don't really care about money much anymore, it just worries me and makes me feel sick, as long as I enjoy myself.

Here's to my continued recovery, thanks dear friends

DAY 64

All is well. Got my darling Jo back with me today, missed her but going to make the most of being with her, over the next few days.

The whole family is off to Butlins tomorrow, so today is a day of preparation for that.

Enjoy your weekend everyone.

Wilsy,

Nice to see you doing well. Keep up the good work. I hope your team get a win tomorrow. Your form may be up and down at the moment but your manager knows what it takes to win through in the play-offs. I will keep my fingers crossed for you.

Tomso.
