DAY 212

Thanks Duncan. Been off work today called in short notice as Jo's Granddad passed away and felt I should be with her. Have also been ill all weekend so was sort of struggling to get up anyway.

Hey Wilsy

Well done on day 212 and staying committed - thats were I got up to before having my "moment of madness" It definitely wasn't worth it and I suffered the consequences. Still, onto week 5 already so it soon passes if we remain focussed and distracted with other things. So pleased you are remaining strong and focussed.

Take care.

DAY 213

Thanks Feb means a lot. Urges are difficult to control at moment maybe something to do with passing 200 days, being bored and work and bored generally. My blocks are in place but urges have been there to drive out of town but I won't. Now at home shattered and about to watch a film, safe and sound.

DAY 214 Just about done

Work boring at the moment still and because of this I am having urges I am sure when I get in the car and start driving home. Really have had to defend myself, get home, shut the door and keep myself in. Sure they will pass just going through the mill a little, staying focused and adamant I won't give in.

Yo,

So get it . Once the honeymoon period is over , it once again becomes a battle .

Which I am sure you have read on here the same as me .

It's a case of being strong enough to ride the storm , you have shown many times in the last 214 days that you are that and more .

So Hun , stay strong stay focused , and carry on pushing forward to your next mile stone .

Hugs

Shiny xxxx

DAY 215

Thanks for your support Shiny, it's disappointing isn't it, the fact the urges will never go away completely and how things trigger them. I feel fine today whilst at work but am sure will have the urges to chance £20 driving home. Must just remember my next goal of 250 days and continue to stay focussed. Know I would feel devastated if I gave up the ghost now.

DAY 216

Passed very slowly and sitting now at my desk bored and not wanting to make any more calls. Just going to run the clock down, then unwind and look forward to the game tomorrow.

PS Duncan... we'll beat those saints for you mate!

DAY 218 All but completed, took Homeland Series 2 back to Asda and got my £24 back. Have since bought it brand new with free P&P for £10.97, can't be bad, as long as it turns up and is in English! 🙂

DAY 220

Tried to go the whole morning without a cigarette today and failed by having one, I felt so crumpy beforehand, I just had to take one to snap out of it. Work is going quite well today although it is quiet with everyone out of the office, still no urges showing themselves so generally quite content.

DAY 221

All's good with me today and back in the comfort zone of not having any urges to gamble, funny how every month they pop up uninvited.

On course for my next target, keep it going WILSY!

DAY 222

Having a rotten day at work, I've had a splitting migraine all day, still making the right choices and remaining on the straight and narrow.
