Jim. Fair play to you. the 8month marker is nearly upon you. What a Xmas present that will be. I'd love to see you getting to the year marker & beyond. Keep it up.

Hi Jim, just thought I would pop and check on forum. It will be my first xmas not gambling. It is a nice feeling to be able to go up town and not be tempted. So I join in your celebrations and raise a glass to us both. Merry xmas Joy

hi all

only eight days to go to my eighth month marker and feeling good about it. I dont think too much about gambling these day but i am trying not to become too complacent about it as I know where that leads.

hope everyone has a good and gambling free christmas.

all the best

Jim (last bet 22/04/06)

Hello Jim

Amongst all the sad stories, it is very uplifting to read the success stories. To know that it can be done.

Best wishes to you for 2007

Jim

Well done - just like Torquay going from strength to strength.

Just like Leyton Orient, I've been on a 6 week spree and done what was left of my 'bank'. Day 1 again for me tomorrow.

Best of luck against Southampton.

Take that back after my team's great result yesterday - only issue is that I wasn't there because I've blown all my dough.

Really did put things in context in a warped way!

read through some of your thread mate and I can honestly say if I can emulate your success I will be VERY VERY happy.

As I'm sure, you've probably fought some serious mental battles and had some major tests in your time without gambling over gambling.

If there is any advice you could give me from your experiences, no matter how silly they sound, I will gladly take your point on board and you never know it may be the difference between me beating it and not mate

On a football fan note, good luck to Torquay 4 the season
