Yes I am well and still going strong, glad to hear you are too. I didnt really celebrate new year too much, I had to work the next day and picking up elephant poo with a hangover isnt much fun!

I havnt written in my diary for a few days as i havnt really got much to say.

life ticks on by, bringing problems with it as it does but thankfully no problems as far as gambling is concerned.

so all is well as i approach nine months of being gambling free.

Hi Jim, 9 months eh? think it takes 9 months to have a baby, and bloody hard work that is!! so regard this as giving birth to a new era. (thank god we aint elephants!!)

I still am gamble free, have my tricky days, but few and far between. Like you say its just about day to day living and with all the stress of modern day living I think we are doing splendidly well!!! so well done and hope the new year just gets better and better. Joy x

well, it was nine months ago today that I had my last bet.

Nine months without gambling.

Nine months without lying.

Nine months without cheating.

Nine months without chronic money worries.

Nine months without sleepless nights.

Nine months without worrying when the door bell rings.

Nine months without worrying when the phone rings.

Nine months without worrying what letters will drop through my door.

Nine months without that twisting feeling in my gut.

Hi all

things are still going well.

Just planning a holiday in Rome for Jackie and myself, booked the flights and reserved a hotel in the heart of Rome, just need to try and save some spending money now.

I wouldn't be doing this if I was still gambling thats for sure, I would be too busy trying to juggle credit card bills and bank loan repayments to provide more cash for more betting.

So onwards and upwards I go, thanks to you lot.
