Hi Jim, any time you feel like stripping(my walls hehehehe)I have plenty needs doing.

I like your idea Carol ann about the bubbles. I still have a bottle my grandson left here. Will defo give it a try!!

I have to admit will be glad when this week is over, been very stressful. So I found it very uplifting to read that although you have had stress you havent given in, a lesson for me to remember.

Keep strong. Joy

Hi Jim, looks like you might have an alternative career to zookeeping ie stripping! Or should I say painting and decorating...!

Yeah, strange how lack of access to this site wasn't very nice! I too missed it. Good to hear that you're still doing well mate.

Didn't have time to write on here last night as I took my wife out for a meal and a drink and came back a little worse for wear!

everything is still going good though and i am a little bit further away from that last bet.

I really do believe that the little daily reminders I get from reading and writing on this site are helping a lot. It helps to keep me focused on what I am doing and why I am doing it.

I hope that my progress does help others, because that helps me too.

and as for "her indoors", I don't know where I would be without her, she has stuck by me through thick and thin. I owe her so much.

Jim

Have just read through your recovery diary and am so impressed with everything I have read (apart form the Torquay United bit LOL). Like the rest of us you have had it bad but we are all lucky now - because we are here. You have done brilliantly - is it now 117 days? Wish I was that far down the line. You have helped me a great deal by just reading yours - I now know that even in a few years time the danger is still there.

Well done Jim - enjoy the gamble free life - you have earnt the right

Best wishes

Hatch

thanks Hatch

You are right, we are the lucky ones..we have recognised that we have a problem and are doing something about it.

I wish you all the luck in the world and hope we are both here and gambling free for many years to come.

Yep, Hatch is right again...! (he's a real find for the site, don't you agree?!)

Jim, you are the one in front of me on a dark lane, holding the torch...your strength builds the strength of others. Keep posting mate, we all need your inspiration - it's great to see that you're just a normal bloke, who has battled and battled and is finally making progres. Like Hatch says, a lot of us wish we were as far ahead as you are, but hell, we all look up to you.

Keep posting mate,

O

Jim

Like Olly says - you're leading the way - I am certainly watching, looking and following and having read your experiences it is certainly making the journey easier for myself!

Keep blasting a trail Jim - good on ya!

All the best

Hatch
