Paul I have just taken the time to read all of your diary only scanning it. You started it 2 days before I stopped and I'm 257 days in now and I think you had another one before the longest day count I saw was about 2 weeks in might be a bit more as they WA times you didn't post but in that time you have declared having a bet 38 times j didn't included the ones where you had a win but they was few and far between. Would you be surprised to see you have lost £5074 I know one was a big blowout and the numbers have come down recently but that's an average of £19.74 per day. That's only the ones we know about

Make the time to read it you seem to be able to make the time to gamble.

Come on toad - how many times have you stated that your diary is for your benefit only? What's the point if you favour spending time gambling over reading it?

To help in your recovery I thought I would summarise your posts from yesterday (as you may not have time to reflect on them). You took the bus to work and stated that you dedicate your day to Ali and wont gamble. 4 hours later you update your post to say you have urges but are determined not to gamble. Others then leave supportive posts, you thank people for their advice and state you will make no excuses. 5 hours later .... you state that went to the bookies (which you were supposed to be self excluded from) and won a tenner. You then state that you drove to a bookies near your town - as you got the bus to work, that means you must have gone home and then decided that you wanted to gamble. You then got in the car and drove out of town with the sole intention of gambling - you had loads of opportunities to change your mind. You say you lost £12 but dont say how much you spent - you later state that your wife is in control of your finances so I am not sure how that works??Then you say that you hope that someone learns from your dairy! However, later when there is a suggstion that you read your own dairy you havent got time!! Once again you highlight the fact that posts are negative. Your response is to advise that tomorrow is a new day and you are going to eat a subway salad.! After more supportive and challenging posts you advise us how far you have come and once again state that your wife is in control of your wages. (By the way, you still havent self excluded which is what you intended to do that day). Toad is then getting angry! You then state that you dont have time to read your diary (how much time today did you spend gambling or driving to gambling - what are you doing onth bus each morning/afternoon?). You then state the doubters can doubt. Can you see why that might be the case Toad? You get some advice and say you will take it on board (a statement that occurs every day in your diary).

I am no gong to comment but thought you migh welcome the summary of yesterday - hopefully as you read it you will understand the issues you face!

Pleased for you Toad but how about turning a few more corners onto some streets that have bookies in them , then you could go in all of them , pull out those elusive photos and self exclude , now that would make you proud ? .

Ps , Where's Paul gone ? , He seemed to be getting a grip at one point .

Hi Alan,

Tomorrow is the day i self exclude from the final bookies.

I went in after work to kill time before my bus came and spent 30p.

It's only 30p and i didn't care but i need to self exclude tomorrow.

That is tomorrows goal.

Toad.

£5074.30 in 259 days now I suppose it's brought you average down. Good news you felt better and could make it into work today.
