Okay today is the day. It has finally arrived. The last bookies near my work will be hit.

I have 2 photos. I will watch racing for 20minutes. Have a free coffee then i will self exclude.

PS i examined my bank statements from 2009-2013. I spenk 30k online gambling. That has blown toad outta the water. Terrible.

Keep swimming against the currentmany like myself don't manage abstinence from from gambling so might be worth a try of budgeting gambling into ur monthly bills I started here spending two hundred a month on gambling I now spend about fifty. I try to get to zero but it never happens. U obviously love watching racing and if it floats ud boat then fair enough jhat trg to change to make it manage able

Spending five thousand in six months or thirty k in three years is not manageable and as ur on twenty k a year salary u must be spending absolutely nothing on socialising or on consumer items or u must rack up a lot of debt. Try to make it manageable mate

Mate I put that it's unfair for people to slate you all the time. It's your diary and you can write what you want. If people don't like it don't read your diary. But then I thought better to keep out of it.

Hi all,

Firstly can I thank adam choppin. Some great advice there. You really are right. I'm struggling to stop so maybe i need to manage my money better.

But i do eventually want to stop.

Today was a disaster. The bookies was packed and i couldn't do it. So it was a failure.

What i do know is that i want my wife to continue managing my finances.

Without my wife my life would have been so bad. She is everything I could wish for. I'm glad I was able to help us get our new house. Gambling nearly took that away. Thankyou Mrs toad xox and the gamcare people.

Tomorrow i will bring £5 to work for lunch.
