Hi! I'm not stalking you ! Honestly! I hope day one is going well, and yes having no money helps the not gambling...hence needing to put some barriers up. I don't mind admitting that in my last gamble free 14 days I would have relapsed if I could. The joy of being a CG means we cannot stop...it's not even about winning, we just cannot do it. You need to ensure your self excluded from betting shops, or your online access is stopped, self exclusion didn't work online for me as I opened other accounts...hence why I have software not allowing gaming sites that has a pass code only my oh knows so I cannot get round it 🙂

I also handed over control to my partner of money, again I don't trust myself not to gamble, so taking this away means I can't! I have had some rough days with my emotions being an absolute roller coaster, tears to tantrums to happy to sad, but the fog has lifted...I'm on my way to recovery and couldn't be feeling better about myself.

Do you have someone to set some pass codes for you? And talking to someone about how your feeling really helps, I dreaded bearing all, the embarrassment and how ashamed I felt, but I'm so glad I did. Keep going day 1 is a good start 🙂

Hi russ, I've just had a read of your other thread on the new intros and you should copy and paste some of the more important post to here as you first post on here does not explain much.

You've had some great advice already and it's upto you what blocks you use and who you do and don't tell. Tge more the merrier for me

What I would say if you work as hard and put as much time and effort into not gambling as you did into gambling It will only make it easier

Hi Russ, enoughs never enough my friend and that's the problem, even with a big win you would eventually want more but not because of the money , because of that high you get from gambling an that's the problem!
