Not a lot to report - still gamble free. Not really thought much about gambling but had a slight urge abit earlier but kept strong. My real test is going to be on the 21st pay day. I just hope I can keep strong nearly 2weeks gamble free 🙂

Hi j100,

Congratulations on doing so well!

Looks like you've been tested a few times but you haven't reacted by gambling. Well done! Great to read that you're going to give yourself a reward -you've earned it.

You've mentioned that gambling effected your mood, making you feel unhappy and irritable sometimes. I wonder what helps you to balance your mood? Sounds like you find that socialising with your friends can help. Some people swear by exercise, as it helps to reduce symptoms of stress. Your local library might have some CDs and DVDs for learning relaxation skills, like meditation. Or maybe you might find it helps to listen to relaxing music? I hope you treat your self to some nice relaxing experiences this weekend.

You really are doing well, and I see that you are supporting other members too.

Keep on posting for as long as it helps.

Take care,

Adam.

Hi j100

Thanks for your post on my thread.

Well done for your efforts, you are doing really well. Hope that your payday is everything that it should be! Pay your bills, debts, and use the rest for yourself and for Xmas!

keep up the good work! My money hasn't cleared yet but i can't wait to make a fresh start tomorrow. If I can go this month without gambling, that will be the first time in 6 years I won't have wasted money on gambling.

From how you are describing things, you sound like you have really changed your mindset, but be careful, and always remember the potential that you have to throw it all away. I think I am saying that to you because I need to say it to myself too. I know you can do it. 21`days !!! Don't waste it and enjoy payday and Christmas without the worry and misery of playing meaningless games.

Take care x

Well done! I'm really pleased for you.

I have crashed and burned I'm afraid!- Back to square one, but I've only myself to blame, I haven't been doing the right things to stop myself. I'm not going to make the same mistake again though and I'm going to take the advice of everyone on here.

Keep up the good work, you're doing really well!

And thanks winningpost 🙂 im in a much better place right now than what I was in 21 days ago. I have forgotton about loses and need to just think ahead.
