Day 250 Well I never thought I would be at this point EVER! Being a fraught, stressed mess day in day out pushed me seek help to break the cycle I found myself trapped in. The support of this forum has been vital to me getting through odaat. I found some old diaries at the weekend and the evidence was there, continuous money juggling to get thru each month. I'm still in debt but now have a solid routine and aim towards being debt free. So sincere thanks to Stephen, Matt and everyone who has supported me and others whos diaries have been thought provoking and inspirational. May tomorrow being another GF day towards a bright future S:)

Saw a great quote earlier 'the smallest steps move you forward' think we should all remember this when things seem to be not moving, especially me! Have a great GF day S:)

Keep moving forward. Gambling is like Snakes and Ladders but the trick is if we know the game we know where the Snakes are and Gambling will mask our minds as to where the Ladders are, keep finding the Ladders, sometimes they seem hard to find, but when we find one it feels good and we know where all the Snakes reside and avoid them by any means necessary.

Well done Sharon for the massive steps and progress that you have made. A shining example to others showing that there really is a way forward. You deserve to taste the fruit from the tree of life, from which you now nurture the budding growth, having carefully planted the seeds. Happiness and freedom - because you're worth it!

And I like the 'snakes & ladders' analogy from Smashed. Just visualise the playing board with its pitfalls and opportunities; the evil-looking, sly grinning snake with its winding, slippery slope of doom. Or the ladders of hope in many sizes, giving us the chance to navigate our way through this life to better things.
