Hi Sharon just wanted to wish you a good week. Thankyou for posting on my diary, it really lifted my spirits as I struggled with man-flu wearing my cape of hugs. Ha ha it really comfy and i'm feeling better now.

Glad your able to happily reflect on your progress so far, you have really been quite an inspiration ... stephen

Hi Sharon

Day 216, now the numbers are piling up. Keep going! For the lows maybe have a read of the Easy way to stop gambling by Allen Carr (not the goofy comedian) really helped me understand a few things.

Take care

Matt

No worries, great to see you striving on GF with your new pad to look forward to. If only we could wave a magic wand and erase the past but instead we just have to learn from it I guess. Take care S:)

Sooooo on day 220 have a rare whole day to myself with a list of stuff to do but will have an hour or two of chill. Some days I feel I have come on leaps and bounds, others that life is going at snails pace. But when it comes to staying GF the only way I can manage is odaat and checking in here every day even if I don't post anything of feel I have nothing to offer. Reading others diaries is also invaluable to know I'm not alone but wish I could help certain others more. So here's to another GF day which is a day closer to being debt free and not being trapped in the cycle of regret. Happy Sunday S:)

Congratulations Sharon 220 Days GF. Loved your last post ; chilling out - doing your chores - working in a practical thoughtful way to get your life back on track. No doubts now on today's song choice .....stephen

Hi Sharon,

Glad to read your still motoring on. Days piling up now, well done. Give yourself the credit you deserve, I know some days feel a little empty but every day gamble free is a challenge that you have accomplished even if it doesn't feel like it.

Keep going and well done!

Matt

Aaah thank you both Stephen and Matt my fellow travellers, Yes really enjoying the every day stuff without fretting about wasting money/time. Am slowly chipping away at the debt mountain which is gradually becoming a hill. Had a nice weekend and had a rare dat off yesterday visiting family friends, much needed to have a break. I continue to read diaries and throw in the odd comment, great to see members striving towards a GF future. But can also sympathise and show understanding to those who have relapsed. As everyone says there is no quick fix and really you have to do it your way as it'S not 'one size fits all' have a super GF day S:)
