Day 2 ! Thanks Joanna and duncs for your support ! Wish I had done this years ago been gambling off and on for too long and as you all know - pound leads to ten leads too hundreds ! Spot on dunc each big bet is gambling with having a lovely family and with help on here I am determined to do it ! Thanks again Joanna and duncs good to know I'm not on my own 🙂

Well done john. This site is full of support I signed up last week and am currently nearly a week of not betting. There is some great people on here. Keep writing in your diary and read and post on others. Keep up the good work

Thanks gazza ! Day 3 now here's where it gets harder have time to myself during the week so need to be strong left all my cash at home must always do that cos then can't gamble onwards and upwards 🙂

Day 4 bit tricky today brought 7 pound in too work to buy birthday cards for the wife must not gamble it away because we all know where that leads hoping to have a great day ! Must not gamble cg never win because cg never stop ! Must repeat this lunch time when I buy the cards

day 5 now less pressure today as have no cash on me just going to enjoy the day ! Get paid in a few weeks must stay strong then ! Always more difficult when I get paid must not gamble

Thanks Suzanne ! Think this forum is fantastic no judgement just support wish I had found it years ago lots of great advice only 5 days but already feel better big test will be when I get paid just need to stay strong and think of my lovely family xx

Hi fella well done on getting here, you have got too stay strong you have done the hard bit on admitting you have the problem. The next step is too stay gamble free. I feel when you think about it all the time you are putting yourself under pressure, like when your saying you go too work with money your constantly thinking about it which means your tempted too gamble. The way I deal with it when I leave with the money I say I am going too try my hardest too come back with the more I can. All am trying too say too much thinking eats away at you. Been here is so many occasions an relapsed an ended up as bad as ever, the more you think the more you convince yourself it's ok too gamble. That's why I know where an how it goes wrong. Good luck fella an stay gamble free an become that better person you can be 🙂
