I know as much about the weather as I do about winning at gambling!!!!!

Hope you have had a good day with the men of the Midlands.

Hi All

I have been working in shrewsbury today. At dinner time one of the lads from another trade come over to us and asked if we wanted any chips at dinner time.I didnt want any ,but he came back late anyway and guess where he had spent his dinner time. Yes there just happened to be a bookies next to the chip shop.Of course he lost .He didnt say how much only that he would be working for nothing today.

Isnt it strange the way the bookies are always situated next to a pub,or chippy. What sort of chance do we have of stopping when its thrown down our throat everywhere we turn.Anyway no urges for me today, but im glad i didnt go the chippy with him.Jeff.

hi jeff,

Yes they are everywhere, but as you know we are more prepared now.For the first time i am amazed there are not big warning signs like on packets of cigs...next election time im giving out yards to my local rep.

Pubs have opening and closing times..casinos are open 24/7 mad...im giving out for the other people my money is gone...Boo Hoo..

Best Wishes Stay strong

Jeff

Your guess of Becks is a good one but wrong I am afraid. Have another go-3 left to get--one of them is sooooo easy.

Denis Law--what a player and well worked out. Only one to find-see my diary for a clue.

Hope your time in the Midlands is enjoyable.
