Congratulations Jeff,

Reading your thread is a great inspiration, and thanks for your post of support too.

As everyone else has said, 6-months gamble-free is a mark I've got somewhere in my future too.

I may not have a rhyme for you, but best wishes for another six months!

Hi Jeff

Well Done on 6 months. Be proud of yourself. I am sending (((happy hugs))) 🙂

Thank you for your last post in my diary and for your praise in your last post. Not sure if I deserve that..ahh..buxxer..yeah I guess I do...lol.

Am learning to accept praise at the moment. Not something that comes easy, when all your life you have heard you are not good enough or what you are doing isn't good enough. I am learning that, yes it blooxy well is.

You are a good person Jeff and I for one, am proud to know you and be part of your journey.

Thank you for being here.

God Bless

Charly/Sabine

Its been a hard couple of days for me this week so far due to being off work.Luckily for me one of the lads from work has phoned today and asked if i fancied a game of golf tomorrow. So it wont be too bad of a day.Its at a course in Congleton which is only about 20 mile away but ive never even seen it before.I need to find more to do this week.I was really looking forward to the break but was forgetting all my mates who dont work with me are still at work.Hey im enjoying the lie ins.No need for me to be up until 7-30 tomorrow.Yippeeee.What i can say is it must be really hard for anyone to fight them urges whilst not working.Respect to you. Thanks all Jeff.

Hi Jeff, time, money, and boredom, the three things we need to really guard against mate.......,having said that i'm 100% sure you will enjoy your time off and not get anywhere close to having a bet :).

Hi Jeff,

Congratulations on 6 months mate. That has flown by! You are inspirational.

Thanks for the continued posts on my diary. I'm in this for the long haul mate so i will never dissapear permanently. I think what with being away for nearly a week i got out of the habit of posting a little.

Oh and yes well done to City. I thought they were going to score 10 last weekend! You might be unable to beat Everton but i think you are looking good for the 4th spot.

Keep enjoying your golf mate.

Hope your golf goes a bit better than Curly's last week. I read that they went at the weekend and he did not post again because he was still playing until Wednesday evening!!!!

Hi All

There was a lot of hype on here before the Cheltenham festival. It has really suprised me how the Grand national has not really been an issue with many. Its strange really how all (normal) non gambling people decide to have a bet on this race as it is arguably the hardest race to pick a winner from.Anyway off to golf now.By the way Jas im not from the midlands.Im from a place called Winsford in Cheshire but the firm i work for are from the Midlands hence the week off at Easter.Ps live in Cheshire, come from Liverpool and support Man City.Very mixed up person lol. Thanks all Jeff.

Hi Jeff

What a difference in posting. I have just read your first post on the 5th Oct 09 and your last one and they made me smile.

Blah blah blah...anyway, I'm off to golf now. 🙂 🙂 so nice to read. You seem to very grounded now, know your limitations and are enjoying life. Wonderful!

Sending love and hugs your way

God Bless

Charly/Sabine(still smiling)

Knowing you are in the construction industry, I was wondering whether you had ever met the world champion diy'er from Asia--Ahmed Meshed Mesenn!!

Had a look at the Grand National field today---what a bunch of plodders--maybe because I am not interested in it now but this year looks like the worst quality field ever.

Hope the week of is going well

Hi Jeff, good point re the Grand National. It isn't a race that ever interested me mate, and i think that is true for most horseracing serious gamblers(compulsive or otherwise).Hope your week off is going well.

Seano.
