jeff you are doing great, and even I, a mere laddeee felt let down with the footie the other night!! Bring on Beckham thats what I say!!! (its only coz I like his b*m, dont care about the football lolx).

Life for me seems a bit better, not quite so down, my new job has turne4d out well and is the one I have been searching for, I just need to keep my head clear and work hard, then we will be debt free from family debt anyway in a few months. How about you? are you coping.......? keep posting love maddie xx

Is a different experience watching the footie when you haven't bet on it, isn't it?!

I agree with Maddie, even with an injury Beckham could have limped his way around better than that bunch of muppets. He is looking mighty fine, phwoar! I would! heh heh heh.

Sorry for using your diary to P**v about David Beckham.

Take care,

f x

Hi Jeff,

I'll try and leave a message for ya, without perving over Beckham lol (Sorry Maddie n f).

Just wannted to thank you for the message you left on my diary yesterday, I really needed that mate, it was a tough day but yours (and others) support helped me through.

Got to say that I agree with Curly, Gerrard behind Rooney and J Cole on the left, and also a massively improved work rate.

Stay Strong

Steve

Hi Jeff-glad to see things are still going well for you. Liked what you said about the bookies giving too short odds on England--looked at some football odds in a paper in Sardinia on Sunday and must admit although I did only glance -there odds for win/draw/lose did seem better than here although that is probably caused by the fact that they do not offer stupid odds for things like how many corners or will an own goal be scored!!!

Personally I cannot see how we cannot play Crouch--Rooney and Defoe have never scored a goal when they have played together!!!!!! yet Crouch has a fantastic scoring record for England and defenders cannot deal with his height. I would drop Lennon for Cole and give him a free role with Gerrard moving to the centre of midfield. The main problem with the last game though was they could not manage to even pass the ball a few yards to each other and also seemed to lack any ideas. Beckenbaur says we use the high ball to much--yes we do but when we do we score. That is why he says that because he knows that the Germans for example cannot methodically deal with it.

Hi Jeff,

Been a while so i thought i'd drop in. Hope things are still going well mate and are enjoying the football for what it is even though England have a way of always keeping you on edge until the final whistle!

Keep safe mate

Hi Jeff,

Just checking in mate.

You golfing this weekend? I'll be having a knock Sunday morning and then retiring into the bar for the big game.

18 holes of golf and then watching England beat the Germans with a few pints. It doesn't get much better than that.

Keep up the good work and get growing that moustache it will make a new man of you.

Hi Jeff

I know Ive not posted on your thread before, but I seem to have been stalking you today instead of Ands lol, just wanted to say your posts to Jas and Freda were spot on.

I often think that the clarity we can offer to others would be grreat if we could always harness it for ourselves.

I am certain your observations we really help, they have helped me already, so thanks.

W xx

Evening Jeff,

I've just checked out Pennant Park online and it looks like a nice course mate. It's going to be a scorcher tomorrow so do not forget the suncream!

It's a shame you will not get to see the match live but i am sure there will be endless repeats throughout the day.

I hope you have an enjoyable day mate.
