Hi All

Up bright and early getting ready for golf.Lovely day for it.Stroke play today so i have a little bit more of a chance.though feel i would be hard pushed to make the top 3 but never say never eh.

Reading through the diaries it sounds like a few of us are going golfing today.

We may have to have a gamcare open one day.Curley you cant come in it.Its for amateurs only lol.

As i have said i will miss the football but hopefully i will be joining in the celebrations later (any excuse for a beer).

Ive booked tomorrow off work.meeting up with 30 of your mates for golf and going back to the pub when England have played could end up getting a bit messy.Yeah i think i will have a hangover. All the best Jeff .

CMON ENGLAND.

Hi All

Ive not posted for a week.I had read a lot of diaries ,but im not getting home from work till late.

Im have been reading a lot of new diaries this week and im really feeling for those new members struggling.

Those first few weeks stick in my mind ,and i want them to stay as fresh as possible. They were dark days, but with that experience it keeps me from going back. Those people who have followed my diary know i lost everything except the most important thing. My family (although i did lose a previous missus and daughter in my early days).

Money will come and go while you are gambling. But it definatley stays around longer when you dont.

I am 9 months free today and i feel i wont ever go back.My life isnt perfect but its a lot better now i dont gamble.

I think the two sayings i can relate to most are I cannot win because i cannot stop and nothing changes if nothing changes.

Both are so true.

By the way fellow golfers ,i think i need to put in some serious practice.I played diobolical last week finishing 12th of 18.Hey but what a lovley course.Thank you all for your continued support .All the best Jeff.

Smashing Jeff,

9 months is great,i often have a read of your diary and its warming to see that it doesnt matter what stage of our lives were at,ALL of us can make a change.

I appreciate your comments on my diary,i REALLY must try and keep up with replys to others but i think i get too wrapped up in spouting my own propoganda,LOL,still what the hell,i reckon i get things half right and that will do me,

Anyway keep doing what your doing Jeff, your a cracking fella.

Regards,

"" A NEW LIFE ""

Well done on 9 months Jeff. Super stuff.

I don't mind admitting that you are one of my heroes Jeff. The others are Duncan Ferguson and Homer Simpson so do not get too emotional mate!

12th of 18 mate. What has happened to the all conquering order or merit winner from last summer? Have they adjusted your handicap Jeff?

Enjoy the rest of your weekend mate.

Thanks for post Jeff.

I dont think Man City are any value to win the Prem at around the 5/1 mark. Can they win it - today I would say No, but depends if they sign some superstars who can actually adapt to the English game before the start of the new season mate.

Don't know if "CITEH" can win the premiere Jeff,i do know that they haved signed a very good left back though :).......,on the other hand it saddens me that they are paying Yaya Toure £200,000 a week, the games gone mad!!!.

Hi Jeff,

I fear that City will have no chance of winning the league next season mate. Unfortunately they seem to be repeating the same trick as last summer by paying ridiculous transfer fees and wages for players that are a little short of top class.

I see Arteta is rumoured to be on Mancini's***t list for £25 million.

A little part of me will die inside if this happens.
