Thanks for post Jeff.

As you pass the 600 posts mark, you are 100 ahead of me! I may catch you up on posts someday but I know I will never catch you up on days not gambling as you are there permanent, in a much better place and good luck to you in that mate.

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for the post on my diary mate.

How's the golf going?? I haven't played a lot lately, need a bit more work-free time, I think.

Is there anyone that City aren't gonna buy this summer. You must nearly have a squad of about 120 by now!! Mancini has got to deliver trophies and a top two finish I think to keep his job. Can see it being a 5-6 horse race for the title this season. I wouldn't like to bet on the winner. Then again I don't like to bet anymore. Happy Days.

Stay Strong

Steve

Hi Jeff--glad to see that things still going great for you. Your life continues to involve the gg's though I see although that now refers to good golf rather than anything that has four legs.

all the best

Hi Jeff thanks for post and for confirming your view that there is nothing to replace the buzz of gambling.

You make a good point re the title of my diary and I have recognised that myself. When I started off on here I was originally trying to stop all gambling but couldnt see how I could live without Sports Betting, hence title, but it should really be titled 'Life With Only Sports Bets'..maybe the administrators on here could change it...?

Hi Jeff,

Are you watching the Open. The old lady certainly is playing well today. Tiger seems to be doing ok but Rory is roaring!! I wish Woods would smile a bit more, he reminds me a bit off Kevin the teenager from the Harry Enfield sketchers!

Stay Strong

Hi Jeff

Thought I pop in and thank you for your continued support. Like gull said in his last post..."Determination is what's needed...."

I also liked what you wrote in your last post...when you met an old buddy of yours..."his time will come, I presume he's not quite ready yet...."

That is quite an inside....to accept that you can only change yourself is a huge step forward in recovery...

Well done you....

God Bless

Charly/Sabine

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for your post, Ive been away shaking some sense into myself! not gambling whilst at it Im pleased to say.

very true what you said about that guy not being ready - I personally think I am on the cusp! its weird because however much you try, you cant force that 'readiness'.

Sounds like your recovery is still going strong. thanks again for your support.
