Hi all
Thought I would ask if anyone has come across my current worry.
Been gamble free for 17 days, got another diary on why I am stopping and it's because it's making me feel ill. Feeling better until today I was told by my IVA company I am up for review.
Worried that they will see my gambling activities and flip and drop me as an IVA customer and basically I am left to fend for myself against the people I owe the money to.
Does anyone know what I can do? Can I be honest with them and tell them im stopped and prove it by showing no gambling in a month when we have the review?
Thought are so appreciated all
Hi
What stage are you at regarding your Iva? As in what year.
I think the best thing you can do is just send in the relevant paper work minus the bank statements. All you really need to do is send them your end of year slip. Not sure how far you are but Iva’s are reviewed every 12 months, gambling during an Iva isn’t the greatest of ideas specially when everything is scrutinised. Hindsight apart if you do what I mentioned you should get through the review, baring in mind if you do tell them the chances are they’ll put your payments up because of an obvious excess of funds . Hope that helps

You might have to cut and paste the above.
Cheers Phil it's my first year review.
This thing is as a gambler I have been sneaky and I have borrowed money from partner before she knew and brother so it's not actually too bad as they will see that whilst I have been gambling the little money I have left it's not always been mine....If that's any better!
When you send in my end of year slip? I thought bank statements were an absolute must?
My even bigger worry than any payments going up is the IVA being cancelled...van that happen too?
Thanks pal
Cheers both sorry thought it was just a comment from Wentworth.
Appreciate your help both of you as I can't speak to them just yet need to work out the best plan of action
