I relapsed again gutted 70 days. I found out last week my mum only had days too live. I turned too the evil gambling too take my frustration out. I was wrong I know that now. Back too day 2. Times like this that makes you realise the important things in life. Gambling is an evil addiction. Time too stop being selfish and grow up and put other people first. I have a gambling problem and must not gamble in anyway. Due too start a new year and my new year resolution is set already. Moving forward never back

Hi ally :)) . Not surprising you slipped after the news you recieved as it's always been our place of comfort to run too and learning not go there but deal with our feelings another way is something we all have to learn to do all over again .

Your doing great to come back here instead of running away in a downward spiral because we all know where that ends right :((

As someone much wiser than I once said on here " It's ok to look back , just don't stare " 13 day's of winning for real is a great move in the right direction and be proud of yourself , you can do this for you or do it for your Mum who will be proud but as the logo say's " Just do it " :))

Wishing you all the best

Alan .

Thanks for your kind words Alan.

First day back at work after mum passing away. Staying and gamble free. Over the past few weeks has made me realise life is too short too be chasing your life away gambling. There is better things too be doing with your life. Here is too day 15 gf. 2016 has been a terrible year so looking forward too a gf 2017. I relapsed 2 or 3 times in 2016. You can't do anything about the past but you can within the future. Stay focused and stay strong folks

Sorry to hear your sad news Ally, everyone has a re-lapse its how you react after that counts. I used to carry a cutting from a newspaper article by golfer John Daley , it's message was ... if you've dug yourself into a hole it's time to stop digging. I don't know why but it struck a chord with me. Good luck. John
