well i managed to do 3 months + a few days without gambling, was in great spirits and had money in my wallet

then it all changed cant remember why, reformated my pc and my blocker was of and so was i

the last 2 weeks have been hell lost about £4000 i think maybe more, so stupid

was so angry at the end i was hitting myself my god what have i turned into, punching the furniture walls etc,

this is so crazy, all for the sake of a little white ball going round in a circle,

what has happened to me,i sit up and wait for the other half to fall asleep and then punt, lose and go to bed and cant sleep

this has to end if i can do 3 months i can do more

have reinstalled my blocking software and will go for a walk down the beach to try to clear my head

have now closed all accounts i am aware i have so that will help

feeling sad and depressed now all my own doing i must add

mjb

Go for a walk and like everything go round your head then come back and make another post. You'll sort it all out if you really want to stop. Good luck and I'll check in later.

well had a nice run today just got back,my mind is a bit clear now,

decided life is to short to miss out on seeing family and friends before you know it its all gone and you have missed out on so much. my g/f does not deserve my mood swings because of what i have done, she deserves better than that and from today she will have that.

i am determind to beat this and will post each day and my first goal is 3 months because thats what i have done befor.

I have done the same many times. Getting to 100 days gamble free seems too big a hurdle. I get complacent after 3 months, gamble again and think achieving 3 months is too much effort and I give up. You will end up in the same cycle again and again.

Most important thing is to keep going, get back on the horse and stay strong. 3 months and a few days was a great achievement and I can only hope I can do the same.

hi thanks for the replies.

yes it is very had to deal with this illness,i will try my hardest this time.

today is day 2 yesterday had a few urges but after asking myself why do you want to play roulette when you know you cant win even if you do win,why sit there hateing yourself when the ball misses your numbers like its my fault. the result is the same as every other time you play,a lot of stress and a empty bank account why after all these years would the result be diffrent it wont.

so after asking myself this over and over again i didnt play.

so 2 day clear 98 to go to my goal.

good luck with this everyone
