It is sneaky and you aren't alone, it has happened to every one of us which is why we are all here. Hitting rock bottom is important I guess, it brings us here looking for help and support and that's when our journeys begin. Wishing you well, you've stopped for periods before, you will do so again.

Hello Dith,
Another triangle to add to your list - Drop, cover and hold on. I find that quite an appropriate triangle of life, especially when the emotions erupt and not having the comfort blanket of escapism, whether that to be gambling, drink or other ( another triangle ) As, I’m on a roll, I know with me that I have a triad of addictions but gambling is the primary one at the pinnacle.
Anyway I’m on a rambling tangent and just popping by to wish you well.
Have a good weekend and remember there’s no coincidence in life, complacency is our enemy so stick around or even try another avenue and keep on your toes ..,

I have one company I can approach which I used over last 6 years but I have at least 5 other company's I used before that. Any advice on how I can claim back on the ones prior to 6 years? I know its a bit desperate, but that's where I'm at right now. Plus, I read that the payday loan company's have been investigated for irresponsible lending. Yes I borrowed the money but jesus I had 5 or 6 on the go at same time and paid many thousands in interest so it's got to be worth a look. Any advice, experience or pointers? Thank you...
Not me personally but have seen similar questions on ‘ Overcoming gambling ‘ section so possibly post this there and see if any comeback ? It’s worth a shot

Good post mate. You gambled, no big deal, you backed that up by coming on here and writing what you did. It is very hard trying to get rid of something you have had all your life like I have but we know it is no good for us, which is why you will keep on trying to give up. Everyday we don't gamble we improve ourselves mentally, physically and financially.

debtcamel - worth looking at in regards complaints
but totally pointless if you are still gambling or are likely to gamble any of it
Hello P-A,
Thinking slippery slope the ‘ free play ‘, It’s a fairly clever ploy of there’s to suck us in and to quote a cliche ‘ you get owt for nowt ‘ . Thinking it’s similar to switching smoking cr.ack to smoking methadone, hence it’s obviously better for one, yet still very much in the game.
Moral - We don’t play to win, we play for the rush
Affected by gambling?
