It scare's me when I look back at the way I'd pump fistfull's of notes into a Fob't and then whinge and moan when a small bill came in or something like buying a new kettle for the house arose ? , your mind becomes completely unrational when your in that cycle and it's not until you stop for a while you begin to appreciate the value of money again for what it is , instead of just gambling tokens !.

Congratulations on 177 day's brandon and keep up the positivity :))

Best wishes Alan

Yep, completely.

I always used to try to win money for present buying - birthdays, Xmas etc, rather than use my money. Amazing how fast £300 drawn from a credit card could just disappear in a fobt. Good few years until I'm debt free but at least I'm not adding to it.

Cheers Alan.

Days are flying by, 181 now. No idea how I've come so far. I don't miss gambling at all, feels like another lifetime.

183 days. Walked past the bookies after a couple of pints today, such a buzz walking past. Money in my pocket, weekend full of football ahead - felt sorry for everyone in there. Keep going everyone, no matter how hard it feels now, you can do it and you'll be a better, happier and wealthier person before you know it.

191 days. No gambling. I do wonder how I ever found time to gamble so much - I never seem to have a spare minute!

I would like to add, Brandon, what an inspiration you are to me. 193 days. You have my full respect, and are helping my resolve immensely. I'm on Day 5. I want to write to you again when I'm on Day 193. Thank you.

Thanks UO! Feels great.

Not too sure, it's my day off, the Mrs too. Xmas tree will be going up, making some mulled wine, should be a generally happy day!
