Thanks our Lady!

Reached the 300 day milestone. Be nice to hit the 1 year mark, I've got no doubt I will.

308 days.

Finding myself really frustrated with the debt looming over me. Not tempted to gamble at all, just feels like it's gonna take forever to pay off. Cleared about 20% in the 308 days. In theory will go down quicker, assuming I keep paying these amounts each month, just need to keep an eye on when 0% interest period runs out.

312 days.

Grand National approaching. Toying with the idea of picking a horse for fun with the mrs, she'll have to put the bet on though. A £1 ew, purely based on a name that means something to us.

Allowed? Thoughts...?

Not posting so much now, feel like the forum has died down with the spam control in place, does put me off posting so often. Anyway, still gamble free. Few weeks away from the one year mark.

fNot sure where this has come from, but I keep having thoughts about passing the one year mark, then allowing myself a £10 football bet each Saturday. Surely this isn't a good idea? Or after a year, will I be more likely to manage this sensibily?

Got passed the 1 year mark, things slipped quickly after that. Had a week of betting here and there, nothing like the old days but too close for comfort. Lost about £100 over the space of a week, one day was spent pretty much glued to my phone. Stupid of me. New account closed, access to money will be restricted by myself again. Could have been a lot worse I suppose, not happy with myself though. Back to reading on here regularly. Hopefully just a minor blip.

Thought I'd better get back on here.

After doing a year bet free, I had the occasional slip up. Past month I've been betting quite often. Nothing like the amounts I used to bet, but still too much. Despite having cut my bank card up, I found a site that I could deposit using PayPal. So I'm gonna close that account and just have my joint account which I would never use to gamble as the mrs would see.

Back to day one, glad I nipped it in the bud before it got out of hand!

3 days done. Not much but it's a start. Feel really good.

Quite annoyed at myself for even getting back to this stage, need to think ahead to avoid this happening again.

Day 5. Just read back through my own diary, pretty gutted I started gambling again! Literally hit the one year mark then that was it, 6 months of gambling. Nothing like before, no fobt, no huge losses. But if there was a match on, I'd have £10-20 on it, glued to my phone watching for the result. Disappointed in myself.

9 days without gambling.

Keeping really busy with work and a business with my wife from home. Managed to get to the pub for 2 pints tonight and watched the football with mates, not done that in a while. No urge to bet at all

Hi Brandon, just picked up on your recovery and wow you racked up some days! Slight blip but you are past that and are back on top of things again with no problems. Well done mate!
