It's here! 50 days. 7 whole weeks and an extra day for good luck. Feeling great today. Thanks so much for the comments Glint and Oldham. I've realised I haven't got any viscounts.....I had a Milky Way Cake Bar but somehow it doesn't seem right......so I'm off to the supermarket to find me some celebratory viscounts with the money in the bank I never used to have. Viscounts seem like the only way to celebrate now!

So, one big milestone down and many more to go. It's good to look forward and I'm setting my sights on the 100 now but still taking it one day at a time. Thanks for all the support people. Well done to Linds on day 2 - you're doing great 🙂 Minty chocolate biscuits calling....over and out x

Always missing the party Alan! Thanks for your kinds words and to Damo too. Day 51 is a good day for not gambling....even though it's been a bit of a crappy morning so far with other things. I dropped the car off for it's MOT this morning at 8, realised at 9 that Id left my work phone in there so went to get the bus down to retrieve it. Bus drove straight past me and ended up having to walk. Back home waiting for the dreaded call now on the cost. But....on the positive side - I managed to exercise today and I didn't have to start work proper until 10.30am. Plus....I don't really have to worry about the cost as I'm pretty sure my 51 days of not gambling money can cover whatever they manage to come up with! Oh and the sun is shining. Sometimes, you just have to roll with the punches and look on the positive side.

Wishing everyone a gf weekend of happiness. Take care of yourselves 🙂

Great news, you got to the 50 days milestone.

You definitely would have gambled more than you're going to spend on the car and at least you're going to have something to show for your money, instead of being stressed and depressed because you've gambled it away.

Onwards to 100 days for you, but you've got the 2 months and 3 months goals, to look forward to before that.

8 weeks today. 56 days. Feeling good. Start my new job next week and looking forward to that. Car wasn't so bad for the bill and they fixed a slow puncture I didn't know I had so that was handy! Looking forward to 9,10,11 & 12 week milestones. Hope you're all staying strong and gf. Can't stand this heat myself, so good that I'm no longer a gambler as staying in all day I would have spent a fortune. But no more! I refuse to hand my money over on a silver platter to mr gambling website. He doesn't deserve it thats for sure!

Keep rolling with those punches. Don't forget there are thicker gloves and helmets you can put on to make the boxing easier.
