Gamble free nearly 18 months now but finding it very hard. I left the my home in the USA broke and broken. I moved to London, had a lovely relationship and that broke down so I ran again to Dublin where I am now based.
I have a great job but am terribly lonely. I have made amends to a point back home and paid back my family over $20000.00 which I owed them and thought I might go back this summer for a visit.
Last Friday I found out that my brother had been in Dublin for 3 days on business and he never told me or wanted to meet even for a coffee etc. I only found out after he had gone home. Sometimes I think my family just want me to stay away forever. The only contact I have is if I call, txt, Skype etc. My mam is great if I call and none of my siblings are there and they put pressure on her to cut me off as she told me. But mammys always love their children but she is elderly and lives with my brother.
I just feel cut off 4000 miles from home and the urge to go online and gamble is huge lately !

its bad that your brother didnt visit , but if it makes you feel any better , my brother doesnt know about the money i have lost and never will , i hope , but if he came down my street he still would not knock my door lol , its just him we love each other as brothers but hes too busy for me lol. regarding your gambling dont do it pal , lonliness is an a** but you im sure will meet someone soon , try joining clubs or dating site maybe , but whatever you do dont gamble that is not the answer
