I amIt has been 2 full days since I first found this website and have suffered a day of withdrawal, first day off work since too! Home alone with my wife at work, things are tough.. I make sure I keep myself busy, playing games on the Xbox or simply calling my family to get my mind off the cravings.

It has been over 2 weeks since I last gambled although I have had no money so I will only be truly proud of myself if I can carry this on after payday!

I am finally going to start therapy within a week and have fully opened up to my wife about everything (she knew a lot anyway) I will come out of this a stronger - better person! As will all of you wonderful people!

Hi mg and welcome

You mentioned you haven't gambled for two weeks and this coincides with having no money. But next week will be the real test? How about instead of testing your resolve you hand financial control to your wife for a while that way you'll be safe knowing even if you did feel the urge to gamble. Your ability to get funds would be on lock down. Good to see you starting therapy aswell next week

Enjoy you're weekend

Deano

Hi Deano! Yeah that's a great idea, I had a bit of a craving today but I agree with giving my wife control of my money.. I know all it takes is one slip up and it's back to 0 days! And nobody here wants that! You have a great weekend too!
