Hi ands

Thanks for your post. Always good to hear from you.

Day 40 for me so have a long way to go to catch up with you!

But great thing is having handed over control of my finances (or should I say complete lack of finances) to my sister the days will continue to 'rack up' as you put it.

Hope all is good with you and your boys.

Cheers

David

Mnay thanks for your honest answer to my question. Yes, that sounds about right and it's really good to hear that your boys come first. We certainly are in this for the long haul but it won't be 12 years of doom and gloom won't it?!

Don't forget to keep looking after number one as well!

Have a great weekend.

Hi ands, great to here all is well with you. I know what you mean when you say you miss the fruities. I miss it, but life is so much better without gambling. I too have two boys (plus a little girl!). They are what matters and a hell of a good reason not to gamble. Good for you fella. Russ

Family is so, so much more important than throwing money away just to see little pictures of fruits spinning and stopping.

Hi Ands, it sounds like you are a proper real day Mrs Doubtfire....do you wear a tartan dress? Lol. The two boys are five and three and the little girl will be one on Wednesday. Our oldest has suddenly become very very loud....apparently it's a common feature when they get to big boy school. Anyway, it's very peaceful now! How old are your two? Fishing sounds like a good idea....we have a fishing lake just 100 metres from the house! We also have some brown trout in the stream....a can see some fishing action in the not too distant future! Any way....keep doing what you are doing. Those boys probably worship the ground you walk on. Take care russ

You are being the father you wanted to be when you first came onto this forum. Its nuts to think that at one point someone thought you might not be fit - you sound like the best Dad ever!

There is safety in routines, they keep you on the straight and narrow 🙂

Take care,

f x

Thanks for your posts, always appreciate them..

Day of work today, waiting for engineer to sort my clanging boiler out, boys at school and feeling very lazy today!

Have more bereavement counselling tomorrow which is just hard and very emotional.

I am becoming a better person and a better parent as the days tick by.

Thanks again to all those who have supported me on this very hard/rockey journey. ands
