Ands,

Thanks for the post and very thoughtful of you - I think I had started to get a little complacent - and your little jolt was exactly what I needed.

Have been reading the diaries and good to see that you're spending quality time with your boys and establishing routines. You rightly say that this is ODAAT but I can tell 're that you're turning into the person you would want to be!

Hope the counselling goes well.

All the best mate

Hatch

Ands,

Thanks for your post and your continued eye on my diary.

Hope all is good with you and that the counselling is helping you come to terms with your loss.

You are a great example for us all to follow.

Much respect to you my friend.

David

Hi ands, I too had pangs today. I think it's more drawn out of habit rather than anything else. We will never go back to that life. The kids are too important. Top man. Russ

Cannot allow your excellent diary to drop down to page 3. I would recommend all new posters to read your diary as you have shown us what can be done in spite of all the difficult circumstances that you have had to deal with.

Hope you and the lads had a great weekend.

David

Hi ands,

just dropping by to give you a quick high five!

Glad you are managing to plod on, and stay gamble-free.

You have been through so much ands, and many others would have just gone into self-pity mode, self-destructed. It take sreal courage and strength of character to rebuild your life the way you have done.

Take care,

f x

Ands,

Another great post from you yesterday.

Sums up a lot about what awaits the compulsive gambler if we don't see the light and take action to beat this awful disease.

Money is one thing, but doesn't really matter in a way compared to the damage that this can do to our relationships with loved ones.

I'm sticking to this determined attack on my addiction and through this site have found good friends who will bring the reality of its effect on people into the open for all to see.

Respect to you for your great achievement.

David

Ands,

Great post - "remember gambling solves f*** all" - priceless BUT true.

We're all in a much better place for not gambling BUT we must remember the pain it caused - to prevent us returning.

Glad life is brightening up for you mate.

All the best

Hatch

Yes, I tend to just remember one rock bottom moment from my gambling past as I really am now looking to the future.

Have a great gamble-free weekend.
