Thanks for your posts.

Don,t know why i am posting tonight but i have made an error just spent ages looking for the date of my last slip up. I now know it will be 2 years gamble free on the 1st march, not feb. But hey thats a month away and i will certainly be gamble free then. So slip up count remains at 2 and im chuffed with myself.

Who will be the 1000 poster on my diary???

Thanks as always for your posts.

Well approaching 4 years on this forum now, slip up count remains 2 and nearly 2 years 3 months gamble free now.

This is by far my best efforts to beat this sh*tty addiction, life pretty settled for me and my beautiful sons.

4 years ago today i can clearly remember what i had done, that is the suttle reminder which is stamped in my brain.

My priorities in life are my sons happiness and work, i miss my family and so do my boys. But hey life goes on.

When i first joined i never would have thought i,d still be posting now, but i was wrong there lol!!

Of camping again this summer and looking forward to the rewards of not wasting my money on sh*tty machines.

So diary life is ok, so much better now, boys happy, no longer look like tramps, have a freezer full of food boys have lots of new clothes/toys and a far better dad who will always love them!

GAMBLING s**t, i not returning to that life of misery, lies, stealing and pure heartache.

Thank you gamcare and to my followers, life your lives and dont look back.

Ands

Great to hear from you after all this time, thanks for the post and the good wishes.

Really pleased to read that you have been gamble free for so long and that your life is so much better.

I will never catch you up but I hope I can say in October 2015 that I am 2 years 4 months random gambling free!

Hi Ands,

Great stuff Ands. I look forward to reading your next post saying much the same thing but with "autumn" instead of "summer" 😉 An inspiration to me and am sure many others. Regards... S.A 🙂

Thanks for your posts.

Been a couple of months since my last post and now i am roughly 2 years 7 months gamble free now.

Still get the odd urge but there is no way im going back to that life.

My DMP going well paying my monthly installments on time and in another 5 years and 3 months i will be debt free. I quite fortunate, found a very good debt management company which do charge but a relatively small amount compared to other companies. Still full of regrets and still miss my family. But my boys are doing great and both doing very well at school, They are the reason i kicked the habit and they are the reason i will not return to old ways!

Halloween party tonight and with christmas approaching, have some fun on the way.

I look forward to my next target 3 years gamble free, which i will reach next year.

Life much better nowadays, til my next post i wish you all well.
