Oops its only 25. Got ahead of myself!!

Well it's 26 today dessieboy!
The days are adding up and you are getting closer to that calendar month. Great to see you doing so well. Suzy
Thanks Suzy,
indeed it is 26 today! Just got back from my counselling session. I have to say I'm amazed how many issues I've had that I didn't even realise I had!! Its all positive as I feel I can work on them to continue my recovery. I know its not for everyone but I can already say it's been a massive help to me.

Hi Dessie, Thanks for your comment Buddy , Def think Womble's the new code word for gamble ? . Been wombeling lately ? Nah !! " Gave it up a month ago " lol , Glad to meet another Fobt hater ! ,think there's quite a few of us on here who've been sucked in by the evil little feckers ? . Good luck on your road to recovery my friend !! Alan
Haha I'm still trying to get wombling out my head!!!I've been thinking about fobts and suddenly realised I'm really lucky the way my addiction developed. I'm mad been on many sports and my addiction developed initially by betting on sports. This meant my enjoyment of watching them was spoilt for a long time. Rather than enjoying the game id be desperate fir one more corner or for a particular player to score the next try. However when fobts came along normal sports betting was just not hardcover enough anymore so I basically stopped doing I. In recovery I can now watch all the sports I've always loved without any compulsion to bet on them. Never thought id say that fobts were helping my recovery in any way;!;
have a great weekend everyone

Thanks for posting on my thread Alan. Weds and Thursday I am gonna be so focussed will be on this most of Wednesday night . Whilst I am looking forwards to getting paid, I am dreading it too. Have already promised daughter I am buying her new shoes so there is a commitment I don't usually make. Don't worry though she is well looked after. I just want to be normal! I hate gambling and what it has done to me. I hate the industry it ruins lives. I am a very hard working woman who has provided for years for not only mine but my extended family. I wish you well on your journey and I will follow your posts for inspiration xx
Affected by gambling?
