I am glad that gambling is no longer taking over me like it once was.

Have been suffering from quite a bit of anxiety lately. My 28th in 3 weeks and I have been stressing a lot about life and career worrying that I havent sorted myself out yet.

Not an excuse but my 20s havent been great, parents had an ugly divorce when I was 19 and dad moved away few years later , see him a couple of times a year If I am lucky. Have not been close to my Mum since the divorce so just missed having that parent figure last 7 years, havent had anyone to talk to which led me to depression and gambling for so long. I have just got stuck in a rut last few years with no drive or motivation.

At least now the gambling has stopped, I am now just getting by at work but at the same time trying to work out what to do with myself long term.

Day 85 : £637.50

Successful weekend, kept busy and forgot about the football.

Day 86 : £645.00

My birthday falls on day 108, have recently booked a 5 day trip to Seville for the two of us so have deffinately treated myself 🙂

22 days and counting, need a break and some sun!

Getting there Wilsy, one day at a time. Its getting more difficult to not give in with all this football on at the moment + the world cup in June but I want to save at least £1k which means I have to get to day 133.

Getting the new debit card and scratching off the security number has helped a lot. For me having somewhere to write everyday, even if its just a day update, has helped me stick to it.

Cant wait for Seville, 20 days and counting 🙂

You'll be fine you are onto day 88, push on through to 100+ by June you will be well on top of this addiction. Be proud and keep on going.

I have worked out that the day before the world cup will be day 200 so that falls nicely and is my target. If (hopefully) I make it to then I would have saved £1500.
