Typical gambler really - fobt’s, online roulette, blackjack, sports betting, everything. Long story short I spend most of my wages gambling when I should be putting money away in savings, which in reality has left me with no money after working for a whole year now.
I’ve not gotten myself in serious trouble and being 19 I know I have time to stop. But I need to stop now before it’s too late, I have taken payday loans in the past as I’ve left myself short for the month before. Obviously affecting my credit score. So this is really affecting my life.
If I stop I could have a decent amount of money in my savings account by Christmas, and if I make it to Christmas I believe I can do anything. I have signed up to GamBan so cannot bet online whatsoever for the next 5 years. My journey re-begins here..
Day 1 - A bit more information about my relapse last night. I managed about 2 and a half weeks without a bet, then went into the bookies after gym, ended up losing about £150 which should of gone towards something else. When will I learn? Today is a new day, I can’t change my past, but I can help myself now.
