Well I've been on here on and off over the last few years. I've returned worse than ever. I can't bare to look back at my history.
I am nearly out of my twenties, which have been addicted to the roulette.
I am on the brink of giving up. If it wasn't for my boys or partner, I would be gone. If they did know the true extent then I would have no choice. My partner is aware of my history with roulette and thinks I have about 20k worth of debt. If only she knew. I have 35k and struggle each month with dealing with it. Problem is I can't kick the roulette to the curb. Lost 1250 today and am at rock bottom. I earn good money but end up with f***l at the end of a month due to the 900 I pay out. I don't know where to turn or what to do. One bad month at work and I'm finished. I need advice?!
I need to never play that thing again and all my debt go away. I don't want my thirties to be like my twenties, even though most of it will be paying off debt. What a life, consumed by the roulette....
Hi Dean
Welcome back to the forum. Sorry you've had a relapse but it's good that you came back here. I haven't read every one of your previous posts but I know other forum users have made suggestions such as to seek advice for your debt. Agencies like National Debtline, Stepchange or Citizens Advice can let you know what your options are. Maybe you can get those monthly payments down to a more affordable amount.
I'm not sure if you have taken any steps to reduce your opportunities to play roulette, such as having yourself excluded from bookies, casinos and any online accounts? There are things you can do to prevent yourself having the money or the opportunity to gamble - you can read more at our website http://www.gamcare.org.uk/get-advice/what-can-you-do.
Have you considered going to Gamblers Anonymous or having counselling?
