Hi

Yep 4 weeks now and no gambling, feels good and I have had urges but not succumbed and not wanting to break it this time. Life is still difficult but will have to ride the storm. Just finished a 12hr shift and one again tomorrow.

So some relaxing with the family and early to bed

Take care and best wishes

Day 30

Still going but not easy at the moment, one good thing is nearly sorted DMP so although I won't have spare cash for a long time at least it will be going to pay the debts and not to gambling. Plus never had any cash before and didn't pay debts so that will help me to sleep at night ( i hope)

Morning Cheryl

I am pleased to read about your DMP and you are sooo right, we never had any cash before because we blew all of it on gambling, so instead of adding more debt and pain we are reducing it.

30 days of being gamble free, keep going and stay strong.

Well done to you.

Stay safe

Day 31

Get paid tomorrow and am so pleased I have all my blocks in place should I be tempted I can't gamble now. Even though it still repulses me at times I will not let my guard down as I know from experience that if I even try a small amount I won't stop and I now want to be a winner.

Things will never be the same here again as a lot of things have happened recently, but I am trying to deal with them one at a time. Some due to the gambling and some not.

I am now looking forward and not back and cannot afford the time I spent on gambling as have to concentrate on these.

Needless to say I am trying hard to stay strong but won't be posting for a couple of days.

Take care and best wishes

Hi Cheryl

You have done amazing by winning for 32 days today, it is a tough journey, but you are doing it.

Keep strong and keep winning and I really hope other stuff falls into place soon.

Well done.

Take care and stay safe

I have no fight left

Sorry guys, I have nothing positive to post. I know no one likes negativity on here.

Been fighting to keep house but lost. Battle over.

Hope you all stay strong and keep focused and fight this thing. I wish each and everyone of you who has supported me continued success and beat this addiction.

Cheryl

Please don't give up. I spent early evening reading all your diary. Take one day at a time, get help with your debts and proper advice about your house. Ask now and please think of yourself and all you have achieved through getting your degree and a career. You can get through this. We are all here to give you support. One small step at a time.
