Don't visit much now, as my life in the real world, instead of the reel world has taken over and I don't feel as wretched as I have in the past.
My diary reminds me of my failures and my triumphs but, unlike a lot of the lovely people on here, I personally don't feel a need to visit daily.
We are all so different in our ways to achieve the same goals.
I do miss bornagain doing the challenge updates but still post weekly.
My life is far from straightforward at the moment but I have actually regained enough self worth that I can face most things although not always straight away.
I hope this tranquillity from the demon continues but I shall continue to break the triangle and not give into the urges.
Have a good day

Wow 13 days since I posted.
Well job offer now formal,
As for gambling I still get urges but life is full on at present so have managed to ignore them.
Have sorted somethings with OH and he has moved back in at present. One was around my gambling and the devastation and money wasting aspect.
Still skint but for the right reasons like bills, family etc
Bye for now

Morning Diary
still here and still gamble free.
Lots going on in my life but am pleased to say gambling is not one of them.
Busy weekend and week ahead, I thought life got quieter as you get older!!!! Not the case here, but am sure if I were still gambling this week off would be spent sitting staring at a computer screen, so it's possibly my life changes that make me busy.
Tha's such a great feeling, that I and the help from this site and other soldiers have helped me thus far
Have a good weekend
Take care

Hi Cheryl,

Thanks for the message on my thread ☺
look at you and busying yourself with life itself, way to go and am really happy for you. No time wasted on dreaded machines..no, we got a life to live huh..and you're a good example of how it can be done ☺
glad to read that things are moving forward with OH also, if it meant to be - it meant to be!

Take care and keep making the right choice

Hi C,

Doesn't it feel good when we are not thinking of gambling in any form, no matter how busy/normal/ or stressful life is.

Am sooo pleased and proud of you for continuing to keep going OAU whatever the weather, keep being thankful for finding your own recovery journey, and keep holding on tight.

o*g C, all I can think of to say is poor you (((((((C)))))))).

Listen I don't have to tell you what you should do, but you know today and the next couple will be hard to digest, stay strong, you have blipped, you have not given up, take these first raw days slowly and positively, you will soon be back with the right frame of mind, and that is very important at this time to get straight back into the recovery frame of mind.

You have my number and email, you can reach me whenever, just don't despair you have come way too far forwards now, one step back is nothing to 200 and odd positive days forwards.

Walking with you as always my friend,

Sxxxxxxxx

Thanks C,

Very pleased to see you posting, keep your head high girl, because as I said one blip after 200 plus days, is really only one step back,

Stay strong, because you are so much worth it.
