Today it marks my 1 year Gamble free as well as 1 year registering on gamcare.
Big thanks to people in this community and people running this forum, wouldn't be here without you.
I know this fight is not done, we have to stay focused every single day not to fall back into our addiction. I sometimes literally feel my wallet with hard earned money opening and have to stop myself. Imagining donating money to people I would spit on if I saw makes me not gamble.
Hopefully we will all be here with next big milestones and not only with a recovered wallet balance but also healed mind and heart.

it gets easier. i know have a much better life. My marriage is stronger than ever. we are expectating our first child in july.

484 days for me congrats keep it up. Since I stopped no more trying to hide things from my husband were so much closer now although when he first found out he felt he could never trust me again. I now pay for us to go on days out so nice to know I can buy things without fretting because I'd wasted all my money on gambling. Was a time I'd walk past a bookies and be pulled in now I just walk straight past. Onwards and upwards for all of us never give up those who slip back just think it's a slip up and start again..
