Don't know if this is an appropriate place to post this. I'm 279 days without a bet today and a friend of mine who's helped me immensely in GA celebrates his 10 year pin next week.
I'd like to buy him a gift as an appreciation for what he's done for me. Anyone got any idea what I could buy him that would mark his achievement and celebration?

I agree with Tri following his footsteps would be the best gift.
One idea might be a book I bought a booking about gambling addiction from a charity shop which had nice inscription inside from someone thanking someone in the same position as you.
Just a small gift would be fine enoughs enough. Even a chat and a thankyou would work wonders. A card or a small book on a relevant subject...if you put the thought into it thats all that matters
I dint think recovering gamblers want too much fuss on anniversaries even though thats quite an achievement.
