One thing I like about having Dan on the forum, is that when these little barbed attacks are being aimed at Dan, then this gives others, myself included a break from unnecessary grief.

I document like a broken record that like Louis, I also haven't taken the road of GA/steps, yet the more I understand the logic of taking this free service, the more I realise that I'm dismissing something due to my interpretation and perspective. The ignorant thought process what got myself in the mess I found myself in.

I also wasn't going to add to this ' debate ', pretty much designed to rally a pack . Controlling actions from a self appointed Gamcare policeman

So who else where you talking about? Im the only one on this forum that advocates those things you have talked about. You also slipped the arrogant comment i made on chat in. If you want to call me out at least have the cojones to man up. But yes lets get the thread closed because Phil isnt getting what he wants from it. Im happy for people to disagree with me, have a pop, im used to it, what i object to is the snidey way you do it.

Your desire to control what is said without offering another proven structure is incredulous to me. Sniping at people & things...

im really not interested in a row, but you need to let whatever grievances you have against me & 12 Step go. Its really not doing you any favours

Echo Dan: the Twelve Steps of Recovery work fine if you follow the prescription carefully but it can be quite unpalatable medicine. Nothing about it being hard or unpalatable stops it from working, probably the opposite. Because it operates on the premise that recovery involves stepping away from ego.

A sponsor who uses isn't following the program, the proverbial wolf in sheep's clothing. Someone who is pretending. But a rogue doesn't invalidate the whole program, doesn't represent the program and doesn't invalidate what those who have worked the program have found - that it works.

Quite obvious Dan who this man with the unfortunate syndrome of ' small man mentality ' is aiming his extremely well written debate is aimed at. Then, low and behold the pack comes and ' peace's outs ' with some absurd comment.

Peace out Dan

Thank you for all the personal comments. I've learnt a lot today about being insecure, jealous, seeking attention, being confrontional, obsessive and in denial. Next time I post anything even on my diary page I will mind my P's and Q's and have no personal opinions. Best wishes, Phil.
