So just came back on here again and seen that I initially signed up 10 years ago and in those 10 years I've been as bad as I was when I first signed up. I wonder who was on this at the same time I signed up and did they ever break free from gambling.

Thank you for your honesty and being so open.
My unhealthy addictions and obsessions were a form of self abuse and self neglect.
Saying you are bad is not the same as saying you have been unhealthy during that time.
I have stuck with recovery over 50 years yet only been clean 32 years.
Why the difference.
It took me over twenty years to learn that I was being very unhealthy and that recovery would help e understand how to become a much healthier person.
Not only that miss out of loads of things from my life.
While I was being unhealthy I was not healing my pains.
While I was being unhealthy I was not reducing my fears.
While I was being unhealthy I was not reducing my unreasonable expectations of people life or situations.
While I was being unhealthy I was not fulfilling my healthy needs.
While I was being unhealthy I was not fulfilling my healthy wants.
While I was being unhealthy I was not fulfilling healthy my goals.
Just for today only I will not gamble.
Just for today only I will not smoke.
Just for today only I will not lie and live in fear.
Just for today only I will attend recovery meetings and get to be a much healthier spiritual person non religious.
