Has anyone had any luck closing a non uk site that isn't registered in the UK? Or any advice on how I might go about it?

I dont want to list the site here for obvious reasons, but it's a very dodgy site,I've sent 15 emails to them asking for my account to be closed over the last 4 months, with no joy.

Hi golfer22,

You mention the site has not complied with your multiple requests to close the account. Have you considered using blocking software, to block your access to gambling sites worldwide? You can register with GamBan for free, via a link in the forum post below:

Take care,

Adam.

I used to play these horrible non uk sites , was one I was completely ignored to close sent over 20 emails and still it was open , other non uk sites I used would close the account but soon as I went back on live chat would instantly re-open no questions asked ! In my opinion there is no way around these non uk sites , there just rob you blind with no regulations set in place. I downloaded a app but only blocked uk sites , I have now handed finances to my partner and I have a block for over 18 sites on my phone and only my partner knows the passcode , maybe you could get someone you trust to do this ?
