Moderators could this be moved to the discussions section? probably more appropriate there?
This thread has been moved here from the Overcoming problem gambling section, as it was suggested.

I dont play the national lottery my addiction was mainly horse racing and football bets. I honestly think i could buy a lottery ticket and win or lose not become addicted to it. However if i won the lottery i suspect i would probably relapse and i would not just want to be at Royal Ascot or York id be thinking Melbourne Cup, Arc De Triomphe and other international events. In short im better off not playing because winning it would kick start my addiction and id end up with nothing anyway.

Ive just read a topic with somebody asking about the lottery... so i thought i'd bump this thread up to the top
I haven't bought a lottery ticket for years.... its the one form of gambling that's really stuck in my mind as a complete waste of time if you actually want to try and win something. I woosh I could say the same for other types of gambling.
theres only 1 reason 1.BECAUSE YOU WILL NEVER WIN !!
Affected by gambling?
