After months of heavy gambling I've blocked myself from sites. I watched stop and step and other YouTube channels.

Are these guys for real? I know they don't show losing videos but these people don't help and they must be affiliated with online casinos.

It just stinks to me.. I loved watching them at first but now I feel they are cheating us!

The trick is to not even contemplate that they exist over time... Make that your focus mate. You have too much to lose thinking about what they get up to with their time.

Every time you think about them you're thinking about gambling.

It takes time of course. But you can do it.

Yes you raise a serious issue which is still continuing. Yes I would call it a scam. It feeds from addicts and it promotes the gambling dens.

Its not a true representation of gambling. I think some of them openly promote casino links and gambling advertising should be illegal.

I havent seen those videos for years because I  dont need to view that toxic nonsense. From what I remember if you leave a challenging comment it either gets deleted or the addicts just give abuse. They dont deal with the facts..they just give abuse. They dont want to hear the truth so you will be hounded out

You will move on..I went through a  fairly brief stage of watching them. I can only reason now that it was part of a cold turkey period. I was getting some level of fix from watching.

The level of gambling in this country is scary. Those videos should be banned but gambling has government backing

Best wishes to everyone on the forum

yes, ive been guilty of watching some of these You tube video's of "streamers" in action. Sometimes they do just show the edited highlights of the wins... which is a cruel thing to do.

sometimes they even admit that they are playing versions of the slot game that have a higher payout percentage, because as you suggest they are affiliated to particular casino's.

Some streamers though do show the reality. I remember seeing one of these videos where the streamer was playing the same slot game at 4 different online casino's. It took 1 hour of spinning before he got his first bonus round. How much money did he lose in that time? I saw another where the streamer shrugged off a loss in "one" session of gambling. Finally I saw another where a You tuber was filming in a bookies and lost at £2 a spin, without any wins or any features. How many minutes did this take... not many!
