Hi out of the blue. I would go and see her. He wants to isolate her. Don't let him do that. Do whatever it takes to see your mother.
Hello Out0ftheblue and welcome to the forum.
Your situation sounds very concerning. It myst be very painful to be cut off from your mother and to fear the effect your brother may be having on her. If you would like to talk to someone about it, you'd be welcome to contact us on the HelpLine on 0808 8020 133, or chat to us on the NetLine.
Best wishes

Look on the Age UK website for advice for people with concerns about the welfare of an older person. Or you could call the Adult Social Services at her local council.
re your own problem - the effect that all this is having on you - help and support is available from CoDA and or GamAnon. Presumably this didn’t occur overnight and is the result of long term engrained behaviour. You can learn to change you and your responses, you can learn how to protect yourself.
