He had to give me 1000 pounds a month and show me statement he was doin very well. 7 months ago he moved in with me at parents home from jan 2018 he stopped giving me the money and said he will invested in the property we are renovating. When i asked to see statement he was making excuses. Until i show a overdraft text on phone. I am so confused dont know what to do, he has moved back to his parents house.
Hi Jigs, when you are married to a compulsive gambler you have to realise nothing will stop them. You can put barriers in place and demand money, but if they've got extra cash or access to loans they will gamble. They will have secret bank accounts, more cards, borrow from friends and family. You will send yourself crazy trying to control them. Look after yourself, your money, no joint accounts. Find a gamanon meeting, call gamcare, learn about addiction. He has to be the one to make the decision to stop.
Thank you merry go round for reply, I don't think i can never trust him. He also lies and says he goes to work but doesnt
