GamCare has been approached by ITN Productions regarding a documentary currently in development. This programme is in the early stages of development, however the team involved would like to ensure that information included is as accurate as possible.

The programme investigates issues associated with childhood gambling, and as part of their research they would like to speak to parents or guardians of children (i.e. aged under 16) who gamble or who have previously gambled. This can include activities such as gambling within gaming or betting on e-Sports, as well as other forms of betting on sports etc.

If you would like to assist with this initial research you can contact the production team directly. All your correspondence will be confidential, and there is no obligation to take part in any final production if you do not want to. For more information please contact Janet Eastham, assistant producer, on [email protected].

Hi Concerned123. I am the mom of a compulsive gambling son. If you start a new topic of your own in the Friends & Family section (with a little more about what you are dealing with) you will get replies:).

Hello, what should be done if a child is addicted to the game?
