Dear @k2 ,
Thank you for your feedback on the new Forum. I appreciate there is still some work to do, we continually feed back to the developers, please bare with us, it appears, this is not quite the end product yet.Â
Thank you everyone for keep feeding back and your ongoing patience, we are taking it on board.
And yes, the spam problem is very much under control!
All the very best,

I'm not keen on the view count. It can be discouraging for a poster to see multiple 'hits' on a topic when replies number in single figures likewise if another poster's topic looks more 'popular'. Can it be switched off?
The views was always there on the desktop site but it’s adding double the views. I understand what you are saying though you see people read and don’t respond can be discouragingÂ
I never got a view count on the old site even though I'm a dinosaur on a desktop. Feeling cheated now 😉 Still think it's a bit unnecessary though.
Hi all,
Â
The view count feature will be removed from posts as soon as possible.

I've subscribed to this topic but now it doesn't notify me. Almost like it's timed out, not just this topic.
now when you click on 'last post ' it doesn't go there, I think it goes to top of last page.
still can't see a persons activity only mine.
'recent activity' isn't showing updates to recovery diaries.
Â
Any update on the view count removal?
Â
Oh, just to add I've got rid of the chat bubble thing on my desktop with an adblocker if anyone is still bothered with it. Not sure it will work for a phone but there it is.
Hi all,
The view count feature will be removed from posts as soon as possible.

Hi - I am finding the Forum a pain to navigate too - a direct link at the top of the page would good - I may of course be missing something
Can we edit Our Diaries title anymore - if not, I shall forever be stuck on 706 days! 🙂
I actually think the 'Liking' would be a great feature as it would be brilliant to understand what feedback/ discussion/ advice is most well received by people, in turn this could be used to generate a 'sticky' of 'most popular' advice which I think could be helpful for those joining in the early stages _ I know some individuals have produced a checklist themselves but it would be brilliant if Gamcare could generate one of these from across the spectrum. A great example of this, I think would for 'Friends & Family' the questions often asked in the early stages are what questions should I be asking...
To be honest I have nothing to complain about (for a change ?).
Love the colour (blue - my fav), love the typing box even if originally thought my post will appear in elephant size format, and love emoji of course.
Â
The only thing (here we go)...is the view count. Can indeed get discouraging!
Â
But all in all - well done GC! Change is always for a better ??❤
Dear Compulsive Gambler,
Yes, you can still add to your diary using the leave a reply box at the bottom of the page.
Please let us know if you still have problems.
Best wishes,

@forum-admin Don’t think update his diary is the issue think it editing the title of the thread
thanks @forum-admin but yes @oldhamktf is correct - it is just the title I wanted to edit, even if it is only once more to something more sustainable! 🙂
Affected by gambling?
