Notifications

Hi there, yes you can, at the bottom of the Reply box, if you scroll down, you will see a small box to click that says subscribe to this topic, you will then receive notifications when someone replies on the thread. 🙂 Do this for any posts you make or for those you are interested in following up.

thank you for your reply. I have done this but sometimes I don’t get the notifications and sometimes I do. I was just wondering if we could get like a section added where it’s notifications only. Like FB or something like that. 

Hmm, yes I see what you mean. Have you tried going on to Subscriptions along the top navigation bar. From there you can select topics as well as posts in certain areas that you are interested in. Perhaps you need to select posts as well as topics? I do find the site tricky to navigate as it has lots of different sections and is rather complex compared to other sites I have been on and yes, it is easy to miss things. If you want to view all the posts you have made, click Activity at the top. It can be a quick way of seeing has anyone responded to you also.

I have subscribed to topics and posts for this section using the Subscriptions tab at the top...hopefully, if you answer me, I should get an email. It would be useful though to get a bell or something on the actual site, like you say, so that you know if you have a message or response without having to go into your email.

Yeah I agree. I have done that I did get a email from your reply to be fair. 

yes it would be nice to have a bell for notifications but I suppose it’s not really meant to be like Facebook or anything. We are just fussy lol 

Yes, I suppose having notifications in your inbox is fair enough but it just makes you feel more connected to the site when you receive your notifications on there and is just a more modern way of doing things. Maybe admin will take up your suggestion. Yes, we are fussy, but to be fair, you make a valid point and as addicted gamblers, the more connection you feel to others in the same situation, the better. It can be a very lonely life after all. Not everyone checks their email that often because if they are anything like mine, then they are full of c**P that you didn't ask for, but you would check your messages on here if you saw you had them because you  know that it would be something that interests you.

That is very true I get a load of rubbish emails. And yes I agree it would make you feel more connected and I suppose there is a lot of lonely people especially with what’s going on. 

I hope you enjoy your weekend also. I’m working tomorrow so mines cut short lol.
