Thank you for highlighting this issue today. There was no chat room today at the publicised time of 2pm to 3pm, due to a technical oversight. We sincerely apologise for this occurence and hope that you will be able to join us for some of the other Saturday afternoon chatrooms that are scheduled to run to trial the popularity of this chat time on a Saturday.

Sorry to be pedantic but when I spoke to someone on netline when I was on the train they said it was a "rota" issue and now it is a technical issue.

It struck me as a technical issue; I believe a Gamcare moderator was ready to 'rock and roll' but the Gamcare web techies hadn't quite flicked the right switches to turn it on.

I may be right, and I may be wrong, but these things happen sometimes and I'm sure Gamcare top brass will be watching next Saturday like a hawk - so it'll be alright next week, I'm sure!

And, back to your point, Phil, if it was a rota issue then, like many organisations, 'technical issues' is a handy cover line to use to cover up oversights like this. At the end of the day, what's important is - were you GF for another day Phil, whatever the provocation!

No provocation - just disappointment. And yes, a bet-free day.

Hi Mixer.
I will never bet online again and after coming to this realisation I feel so content. I am not saying I will never gamble. I do the lottery and may go to bingo once a month, but cash only and only out of an allowance that I set myself. Online for me is where I hit my low, the triangle allowed me to keep going.
