Hi Rebecca I think the captcha idea is good. My only grievance is its usually added to the sign up section. That way bots can't get through it. It might be annoying saying I'm not a bot every time I post. Just an idea

Thanks again
Deano

How is it getting through when I have to tick a box to post?

Ludicrous.

Quite a few forums have a measure where admin or moderators have to approve the first post from a person who signs up. I know it's not 100% ideal as during the night nobody is manning the forum I guess, but there's probably nobody going to be online during these times anyway so that person wouldn't necessarily get a reply anyway.

Could this be a measure that could be looked in to?

Maybe it's genuine Japanese people. Maybe they think we're spam. Live and let live, that's what I say. I'm not a robot.

Although I championed the captcha thing I would of thought they would implement it for sign up not every time I want to post. I must have got 15 wrong by now. I can't see me sticking around if it's like this. What's the score with it? No one seems to answer the many post's above

Hey Deano - I've had the same frustration. Please don't say about not sticking around. You are a great guy and a highly appreciated member of this forum. Maybe there are tweaks etc. the forum have to deal with and work out to make it easier?

They are a disgrace these spammers. Its disgusting I cant read chinese but I would like to know what they think they are doing insulting the integrity of this forum

Im not enjoying the captcha but bear with it folks. Other forums I go on dont seem to have these problems.

I dont know what can be blocked but it seems we all have to do extra because of these disgusting spammers. To target a gambling recovery forum is despicable and they clearly dont care.

I will still try and help people

Can the captcha be made a bit more simple please...I dont really want to do mountains and street signs.

I do hope another solution can be found

Best wishes to everyone Im not a robot 🙂

Agreed. There was a request for better protection and Gamcare have offered it. Now lets see how any tweaks go.

Gamcare i trust you are following this?
