Thank you Gamcare and co. You have been a godsend to our family and just want to let you know that things are starting to look up and Xmas is appearing a lot happier and stress free this year but of course We will still be on our guard for a while yet. My gambling family member was on here for a while and has taken on board advice given. I myself have maybe posted more as the stresses took their toll and also hope I could help some of the young ones on here with sharing some tips on what we have done to help recovery. Although I am always aware that I am not a professional counsellor so try to be careful in what I say. Not sure if some of the gamcare gang want to hear from us parents but family support is so important. It is so sad when young families are being torn apart by this and you can hear they are basically lovely young men and women from all walks of life having lives ruined. It is so good to talk to other parents as well who have been through the same because the guilt you bear as a parent is enormous.

Compulsive gambling is a very emotive subject and you always do your best to handle any disputes fairly, I might not always agree lol but that doesn't mean I can't respect other opinions.
